The unveiling of the sculpture, created by Bernie Tarr, by Mrs Barbara Clark.

  Barbara is the grand daughter of Grannie Rhodes.The occasion was honoured by the presence of the Mayor of Clarence, Jock Campbell, above right. Bernie Tarr left, with Miriam. the statue was blessed by the Rev. Jill McCoy of St Luke's Anglican Church Richmond. Over 70 guests attended the ceremony from all over the south of the state.
